Abstract Attraction

 



Creating artwork of an Abstract manner provide for me, a pleasant relief from the intensity and concentration required to develop some of my other works.
A wonderful sense of freedom to be wild, expressive and loose is passed through the tool and media onto the artworks surface.  I have often thought that painting Abstracts keep me sane and the rewards are great as the dance around the canvas is complete. I paint to music, moving the brush as if choreographed to do so.

It is my intention to create a work that has a "yumminess" about it. As if you could eat it and feel total satisfaction, and never require the need for fuel again.  I take immense pleasure from these works, when I look at them, I am in the unique position of being able to recall the day of its birth, the music that was running through me, the selection of tools I required and each and every layer that was placed to build up the finished work.
